Do you work in an HIV support service in England? Come along to our free webinar and learn how to support people living with HIV who are experiencing discrimination in employment.
Employment is one of the most common arenas in which discrimination is experienced by people living with HIV. These experiences can include: disclosure of HIV status without a person’s consent, harassment and bullying, denial of promotion, not having work contracts renewed and a lack of reasonable adjustments. This is HIV discrimination and it is illegal.
It can be hard to know if a person has experienced employment discrimination, or how they go about bringing a discrimination claim to an Employment Tribunal. Our webinar, with a legal expert guest speaker, will take you through the process and help you to better understand how to help your service users to deal with employment discrimination.
